Tomeka G. Church

Ms. Church is an associate with the firm with a concentration on medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Church was a member of a legal team handling complex civil litigation matters, including corporate fraud, breach of contract, employment discrimination, medical negligence, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury. In addition to her private practice experience, Ms. Church was also previously employed with the Office of the Attorney General representing Maryland educational institutions, boards and commissions in employment and tort claims which included matters of premises liability, negligence, hostile work environment, defamation claims, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, Title VII and Title IX violations. 

Early during her legal career, Ms. Church litigated criminal cases with the Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore City, defending hundreds of adult and juvenile offenders in bench trials and jury trials on a broad range of matters, including burglary, assault, drug possession, handgun offenses, sex offenses, criminal traffic cases (DUI/DWI/suspended and revoked license violations), and child support hearings.
