Komen Maryland Race for the Cure

Race For The Cure - October 2015

It was a banner year! Team Goodell DeVries won the team challenge in our category and was presented with a ceremonial banner during the opening remarks of the race. This year the firm had more than 90 participants for Komen Maryland’s Race for the Cure including attorney, staff and our families. Partner Amy B. Heinrich had this to say of race day, “It is truly a moving event, and one worth everyone’s collective efforts.”

Team Goodell DeVries not only won the team challenge for participation but also raised more than $3,500. In addition to contributions the firm was again a Silver Sponsor for the 10th year in a row. Goodell DeVries is honored to be involved with this event every year to support members in our community affected by breast cancer.

We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Race For The Cure - October 2014

Once again, team Goodell DeVries broke out their best running shoes and Raced for the Cure for Komen Maryland's 22nd annual 5k! For the past 9 years, Goodell DeVries has hosted a team for the Komen Race consisting of our attorneys, employees and family members. In addition to our team effort, the firm was a Silver Sponsor for the event. We enjoy this event every year and proudly race to support all our attorneys and employees whose families are affected by breast cancer.

Race for the Cure - October 2013

Team Goodell DeVries had more than 100 members this year racing for the cure. On the brisk Sunday morning of October 20, 2013 our team members either ran or walked the 21st annual Komen 5k. This marks the 8th year that Goodell DeVries has participated as a team and our level of involvement continues to grow. Our very own Amy B. Heinrich is the Board Chairman of Komen Maryland and this is the 6th year the firm has been a Silver Sponsor for the charity.

In the past years Goodell DeVries has most notably raced in honor of Kathy Wyatt, a beloved Goodell DeVries employee who lost her struggle to breast cancer at the young age of 42. This year we wanted to express our support for all our employees and their families who are affected by breast cancer.
