Long-Term Care Litigation

Our Long-Term Care Litigation attorneys have significant experience in the defense of long-term care facilities, having successfully defended entities in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia at both the state and federal levels.  We represent national long-term care chains, freestanding facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, and hospital-affiliated post-acute care units.  We also represent individual long-term care providers, such as attending physicians, wound specialists, nurse managers and other staff, in malpractice litigation and in disciplinary matters before the applicable disciplinary Boards.  In addition, our attorneys are frequently asked to investigate potential claims and advise on management strategies prior to the formal initiation of litigation.

Our Long-Term Care attorneys regularly lecture to clients on advanced directives, decubitus ulcers, documentation and numerous other litigation topics.
